Welcome to the codextober FAQ!Q: What is codextober?Drawing inspiration from ‘prompt events’ codextober is a month-long creative challenge created by Star Player Ru Solis that is focused on the creativity within the Assassin’s Creed community. For the month of October, those participating post a creative work that is themed around the prompt for that day.Q: What can I post?All types of creative work are welcomed in codextober! The main focus of the challenge is to celebrate the rich creativity of the community in all of its forms. As long as it relates to Assassin’s Creed it is welcome. From original AC characters to real-life photos of collections and locations, we want to see your love for AC.Just some of the things people post are:

•virtual photography

•writingQ: Who can participate?Everyone can participate! It’s open to everyone in the Assassin’s Creed community. Fans new and old are welcome. Whether you’ve played all the games or only played one, codextober is all about celebrating a collective love for the series.Q: How can my works be seen?Tag your works with #codextober when you post them. On Twitter, you can also tag @codextoberOn Instagram, you can tag @codextober! On any other social media, use the hashtag #codextober so we can find your work and share it!Q: Can I use past works?Of course! If it fits the day’s prompt, you are welcome to post it.Q: When is codextober?The challenge starts on the 1st of October and finishes on the 31st of OctoberQ: Do I have to participate for the whole month?Not at all! You are welcome to join for a day, a few days, or a week. It’s all about having fun with the community and celebrating the games we all love.Q: Is codextober a competition?Codextober is not a competition, it’s a challenge. There are no winners and no prizes, it’s all for fun.Q: Should I do any research?That’s entirely up to you. If you need information about the Assassin’s Creed series, the Assassin’s Creed wiki is an excellent resource for all things AC.Codextober is all about having fun with your fellow fans and supporting the amazing creatives in the community.
